Christmas is an amazing and very special time of year to my family. We've always loved it, but we didn't love everything that came with it, like stress, overwhelm and exhaustion. So in 2000 we started changing things ~ and the results have been extraordinary!
We are thrilled with what happened and I wanted to shout it from the roof tops so everyone else could learn to enjoy their holiday season as we had.
In 2008 I was interviewed by The Detroit Free Press about our family traditions and how they've changed our holiday. It was then that I realized our story could help other people change their lives.
So that year I created a blog and my family started talking about our experience. I took the family memories and reminiscences, added some key ideas and pulled it all together to create Heart Filled Holidays.
Now we are thrilled to be making a difference in the lives of others through Heart Filled Holidays. Not only are people reading our story and using the ideas and suggestions to create their own perfect holiday, but every purchase of Heart Filled Holidays supports a charity so we have the joy of making a difference as well.
Heart Filled Holidays is all about making a difference. It starts with reading the book and using the inspiration to make a difference in your own holiday.
Then it's about making a difference in other people's holidays by sharing the message. Telling others about the website, or giving them a copy of the book means they now have the tools to create a peace filled, joyful holiday season for themselves.
